Eligibility for Application :

Passed Madhyamik or Equivalent examination from a recognised board.
Age limit :

Applicant should attain at least 14 years of age 01st August of the applying year. There is no upper Age limit.
Admission Procedure :

Admission Process is conducted by West Bengal state Council For Vocational Training (WBSCVT). The Applicants may follow web – Portal www.wbscvt.org regarding admission Process, Generally if begins in the month of Feb/March (Every Year).
Reservation :

Reservation rules for SC, ST OBC, PH will be maintained as per norms
Note :

All relevant notification / circulars related to admission will be available in the website www.wbscut.org from time to time
Note :

20% of total seats will be reserved for Institute Management Committee (IMC) quota. The Candidates willing to avail the admission under IMC quota have to Select trade specific option during the admission Procedure as applicable.

After successfully completion of NCVT course by the trainees –

  • NTC will be awarded by the NCVT, of India.
  • They may sit for jobs in various Govt./ Govt-aided/ semi-Govt. large numbers of private sector including Railway, Gun-n-shell factories, Defence sectors, State electricity board etc.
  • They may go for further studies in the Polytecnics direct in the 2nd year through an entrance exam.
  • They may state Entreprenership and can Craft job opportunity for others.
